Making Green Garments

All our fabrics are 100% natural, plant-based and responsible. We work with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) certified factories. All printing dyes and inks are either azo-free or plant-based and natural. We use coconut shell buttons and avoid the use of metallic closures.

Upcycling

At Miko Lolo, we’re big believers in minimising our waste and upcycling every little bit. No scrap of fabric goes to waste when we’re around. We make sure all bits of fabric are used in our accessories and toys.

Plant Your Tag

Our price and care tags are printed with non-toxic ink on seed paper. Instead of throwing it in the trash, get your green thumbs out, plant it in the soil with your little one and watch your basil plant grow!

1. Soak the tag in shallow water in a saucer for 2 days, making sure it remains wet throughout.

2. Place healthy, fertile soil in a pot right to the top. Gently pack the soil so it’s slightly compressed and place the tag on top. Add another thin layer of soil on top of the paper (about one-eighth of an inch)

3. Watch your tag grow into a basil plant.
